Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alexander Mesquita!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Saam Ante and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mesquita shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Mesquita was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Frost taking a bit of punishment here - Mesquita scoring with strikes.
Mesquita has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
The referee asks Mesquita politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Mesquita prefers to stall for the moment though.

Frost takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Mesquita looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Mesquita decides to stand up, so the ref orders Frost to his feet.
Frost dodges the punch combination from Mesquita.
Frost seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Frost.
Frost lands a nice looking kick to the body. Mesquita takes a step back to recover.
Frost tries to clinch but Mesquita moves out of range.

Mesquita gets to his feet. Frost looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Frost gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Mesquita stands up over Frost, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
