The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tremblay scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Madrid shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
No joy there for Tremblay, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Tremblay misses with a jab, cross combination.
Tremblay rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Madrid moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Tremblay fails to land with a series of punches.
Madrid shoots in for a takedown but Tremblay shows good takedown defense.
Tremblay misses with a two punch combination.
Tremblay slaps away a takedown attempt from Madrid, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Julio Madrid. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Madrid closes the distance and clinches up with Tremblay, looking for a takedown. Madrid pushes Tremblay against the cage but Tremblay circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
