Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Norris Chow (ranked 3760 p4p, 4429 weight class) and John Johns (ranked 354 p4p, 396 weight class). John Johns will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Norris Chow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, John Johns!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Franklyn Lucas and Anthony Taglia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chow pulls out of a head kick attempt.
It seemed like Johns was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Chow shoots in but no luck this time.

and Chow counters with a three punch combo that has Johns backing up. Johns nods at Chow to acknowledge the strikes.

Johns manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Chow on his heels. He'll look to pass Chow's guard now, I'm sure.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Johns has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Johns and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
