The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Inday closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Perkins wants to get back to his feet.
Perkins controlling the position for now.
Perkins is looking for a sweep. Inday is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Perkins holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.

Inday wants to pass the guard but Perkins is keeping the position.

We've been told by Perkins's head coaches at Torcida MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Durant Perkins is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Inday shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Perkins sprawls well. Perkins wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Inday gets slowly back to his feet.

Inday doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Perkins works Inday's body with a nice hook.
Perkins feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Inday sprawling to the canvas! Inday rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Perkins finish him?!
Inday is rocked!
Perkins cracks Inday with a left hook right on the temple and Inday goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Perkins lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Inday is OK!
