The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Butterfinger throws a looping overhand right but Togo ducks down to avoid it.
Togo shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Butterfinger defends it nicely.
Lionel Butterfinger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Togo goes for a double leg but Butterfinger avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Butterfinger continues to drive forward.
It seemed like Butterfinger was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Butterfinger throws a punch but it's blocked by Togo.
Togo has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Butterfinger avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Danny Togo. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Butterfinger wants to control from the top but Togo keeps moving.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Butterfinger is sitting in close to Togo's body. Togo has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Butterfinger is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Butterfinger is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Togo.
