Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Ronalds (ranked 4611 p4p, 5380 weight class) and Betty Crocker (ranked 551 p4p, 595 weight class). Betty Crocker has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, David Ronalds!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Betty Crocker!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Paul Tew and James Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crocker stuns Ronalds with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Crocker showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Ronalds.
Ronalds wants to clinch but Crocker slips to the side
and Crocker counters with a nice body shot.
Ronalds shoots in and drives through. Crocker sprawls well.
Crocker looks like he wants to counter punch here.
A cross from Crocker lands.
Ronalds goes for a double leg but Crocker avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Crocker continues to drive forward.

Crocker pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Ronalds throws a head kick that misses

and Crocker counters with a crisp right hand that drops Ronalds! Crocker lets Ronalds back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Ronalds is rocked!
Ronalds is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Crocker enables Ronalds to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Crocker manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Crocker really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ronalds. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Ronalds wants to control from the top but Crocker keeps moving.
Crocker controls Ronalds momentarily but Ronalds frees himself.

Crocker is looking to sweep but instead, Ronalds has passed into half guard.
Crocker is trying to control but can't.
Ronalds performing his best blanket impression for a moment.

Ronalds wants to work for an arm triangle but Crocker is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Crocker wants to get back to his feet.
Crocker tries to get to full guard but Ronalds has control of the leg.
Ronalds is controlling the pace.
Ronalds wants to free his trapped foot but Crocker is holding on for dear life with his legs.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Still in half guard, Ronalds seems content to control.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.

Crocker lands a big right hand that sends Ronalds crashing to the mat! Crocker stays standing though and waves Ronalds back to his feet!
Oh Ronalds is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

It looks like David Ronalds has been cut.
Crocker slips a jab and a cross from Ronalds.
Ronalds drops his hands momentarily. Crocker doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Ronalds staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Ronalds doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Betty Crocker!
