Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jon Jones (ranked 3987 p4p, 6329 weight class) and Beau Brandon (ranked 501 p4p, 677 weight class). Jones comes to the cage accompanied by God Gave Me Style. Beau Brandon is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jon Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Beau Brandon!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, David Hoff and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brandon misses with the combination.
Jones throws an overhand right that lands on Brandon's shoulder, as Brandon tries to avoid the shot.
Brandon throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Jones was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Brandon pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Jones back to the cage. Brandon follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Brandon throws a sloppy head kick and Jones moves out of range easily.
A decent looking cross lands there for Jones.
Brandon drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Jones wants to control but Brandon postures up.
Brandon cracks Jones with a big right hand but Jones just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Brandon just content to control the position.
Jones takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.

Brandon manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Jones on his heels. He'll look to pass Jones's guard now, I'm sure.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Brandon creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Jones is trying to get back to half guard.
Brandon lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.

Brandon stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Jones to get to his feet.

Jones tried to score with a low kick but Brandon checks it.
Brandon rushes Jones and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Brandon wants the takedown. Jones is fighting it off but Brandon persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Jones's guard against the cage.
Brandon must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Brandon tightens his grip and picks Jones up, before dumping him to the ground. Jones manages to land in guard.

Jones throws his legs up looking for a submission but Brandon uses it to pass to side control.

Brandon postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Jones in real trouble here! The ref calls for Jones to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
