Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Malachi Lawrence (ranked 1397 p4p, 1612 weight class) and Johnny Bronco (ranked 190 p4p, 213 weight class). Bronco is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: The Horses - Daryl Braithwaite . Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The crowd cheers as Bronco lands an impressive looking overhand right. Lawrence doesn't seem phased though.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Bronco takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Lawrence connects with a good right hand that stumbles Bronco. Bronco circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Lawrence fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Bronco sprawls well initially but Lawrence persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Lawrence is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bronco is just riding it out for now. Lawrence eventually gives up the hold.
