The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thrane swings widly with a right hand
and Thibodeaux Jr. counters with a nice body kick.
Thrane thows a left - swing and a miss!
Thibodeaux Jr. throws a low kick, looking for Thrane's leg but Thrane calmly moves out of range.
Thrane swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Thrane connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Thibodeaux Jr. momentarily.
Thrane throws an overhand right that lands on Thibodeaux Jr.'s shoulder, as Thibodeaux Jr. tries to avoid the shot.
Thibodeaux Jr. avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Thrane misses with a hook
and Thibodeaux Jr. counters with a nice uppercut.
Thibodeaux Jr. uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Thrane.
Thrane on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Thrane throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Thibodeaux Jr. counters with a nice right hand that sends Thrane toppling to the canvas! Thrane scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Thibodeaux Jr. finish him?!
Thrane is rocked!
It looks like Jørgen Thrane has been cut.
Thibodeaux Jr. closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Thrane out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!
