Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Miguel Azevedo Souza (ranked 622 p4p, 1721 weight class) and Magnus Goddard (ranked 83 p4p, 197 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goddard darts in trying to clinch
and Azevedo Souza counters with a right hand to the body.
Magnus Goddard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Azevedo Souza missing with a left hand there. Goddard was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Goddard feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Goddard isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Azevedo Souza stacks Goddard on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Azevedo Souza!

Azevedo Souza wants to lay and pray for a moment but Goddard keeps working.
Goddard is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Azevedo Souza's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Azevedo Souza's back!

Azevedo Souza feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Goddards jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Azevedo Souza was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

Azevedo Souza cracks Goddard with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Azevedo Souza has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Goddard to stand back up!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Azevedo Souza sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Goddard's defenses. It connects perfectly with Goddard's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
