Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chase King (ranked 2939 p4p, 2874 weight class) and Adu Akin (ranked 394 p4p, 387 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Adu Akin!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Winston Alpacca and Sandra Marshall.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akin scores with a body shot.
King clobbers Akin with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
King looks to land a left hand but Akin moved out of range nicely.
Akin looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Akin misses with a wild body shot.
King is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Akin.
Akin throws out a counter right but King avoids it with no problem.
King missing with a left hand there. Akin was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Akin misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from King.
Akin throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
King is looking to counter punch.
King misses with a body shot
and Akin counters with a straight right hand.

It looks like Chase King has been cut.
King jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Akin looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Akin throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
King ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
King throws a poor cross that misses
enabling Akin to counter with a crisp jab.
King definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
King just misses with a punch to the body.
Chase King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
King throws a shot from downtown. Akin moves away and avoids it.
Akin uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from King.
King misses with a looping right.
King swings and misses with a hook to the body.

King avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

King misses the shot to the body.
King throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Akin counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Akin fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. King looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
King dips to his left and cracks Akin with an uppercut!
King misses with an uppercut.
King swings away with a body shot that misses
and Akin makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Akin gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
King misses with a body punch
and Akin cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Akin throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent King stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
King is breathing heavily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Akin cracks King with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Akin has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning King to stand back up!

King is rocked!

Chase King's cut is getting worse.
King misses with a right hand
and Akin counters with a big left hand that crumples King! He was out before he hit the floor! Brutal knockout!
