And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Ren Mimura and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kyrylyuk lunges at Chess with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Chess's hand.
Chess misses with a head kick.
Kyrylyuk misses with a hook. Chess ducked under it nicely.
Kyrylyuk thows a left - swing and a miss!
Chess uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kyrylyuk.
Chess darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Kyrylyuk scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Chess manages to mount him!
Chess tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Chess stands up from mount. Strange move.
Kyrylyuk is looking to clinch but Chess is avoiding it.
Chess looking to score a takedown here. Kyrylyuk is defending well but Chess drives through and ends up in Kyrylyuk's guard.
Chess works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Chess lands strikes from half guard.
Kyrylyuk knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Chess on the ground.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
