The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sioux blocks a head kick by Rubert.
Rubert tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Sioux is looking to counter punch.
Rubert throws a body punch but Sioux moves out of range.
Nice uppercut there from Sioux.
Rubert throws a hook to the side of Sioux's head but Sioux sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Sioux was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Rubert throws a lazy uppercut
and Sioux counters with a stiff right hand.
Rubert throws a lazy head kick
and Sioux counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Sioux seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Rubert misses with an attempted mid kick.
Sioux was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Hubert Rubert seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sioux missing with a left hand there. Rubert was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Rubert throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Rubert throws a sloppy body shot
and Sioux counters with a slapping leg kick.
Sioux is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Rubert misses the body punch
and Sioux counters with a solid body kick.

and Sioux comes in over the top with a devastating right hand! Rubert stumbles back against the cage, looking to regain his senses but Sioux is on him like rabid pit bull! Rubert slumps to the ground under a storm of punches and this fight is over!
