Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kassim Suluhu (ranked 22929 p4p, 6714 weight class) and Miro Tynkkynen (ranked 103 p4p, 98 weight class). Tynkkynen has chosen Cow herd - Fields as his entrance music. Miro Tynkkynen will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 28 - 36 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kassim Suluhu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Miro Tynkkynen!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Steven Brown and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tynkkynen takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.

Suluhu scores with a takedown into Tynkkynen's guard.

Tynkkynen pushes Suluhu off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
A looping hook to the body misses from Tynkkynen. Suluhu does a little dance to reset his feet.
Suluhu throws a body punch but Tynkkynen moves out of range.
Tynkkynen cracks Suluhu with a good jab.
Suluhu uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Tynkkynen.
A solid leg kick lands there for Suluhu.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Tynkkynen scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Suluhu ducks under a wild hook from Tynkkynen.
Suluhu takes a swing at Tynkkynen's ribcage but misses.
Tynkkynen throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Suluhu sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Tynkkynen stuffs the takedown.
Miro Tynkkynen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Suluhu throws a push kick but Tynkkynen slaps the foot to one side.
Suluhu misses with a takedown attempt - Tynkkynen sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Tynkkynen scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Suluhu ducks under a wild hook from Tynkkynen.
It looked like Suluhu was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Tynkkynen.
Suluhu gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Tynkkynen displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Suluhu.
Tynkkynen steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Suluhu.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kassim Suluhu. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Tynkkynen takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Tynkkynen is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Suluhu fails with the takedown.
Suluhu shoots in looking for a takedown. Tynkkynen tries to sprawl out of it but Suluhu keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Tynkkynen manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Suluhu is looking to land body kicks.
Suluhu throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Tynkkynen is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Tynkkynen scores with a body shot.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jab, jab by Tynkkynen - just one landing.
Tynkkynen keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Suluhu is rocked!
A jab from Tynkkynen does it's job there.
Oh Suluhu is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Suluhu drops his hands momentarily. Tynkkynen doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Suluhu staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Suluhu doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Miro Tynkkynen!
A relieved looking Miro Tynkkynen thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
