Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Beo Hafje (ranked 5501 p4p, 6397 weight class) and Jammed Haunter Jr (ranked 627 p4p, 679 weight class). Jammed Haunter Jr will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haunter Jr swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Hafje feinted with a counter takedown.

Hafje gets a double leg takedown into Haunter Jr's guard.
Haunter Jr is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Hafje slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Haunter Jr looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Haunter Jr wriggles free and stands up.

Hafje stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hafje wants it to stay on the feet.

Hafje decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hafje seems to be working for a kimura but Haunter Jr defends the submission attempt.

Haunter Jr is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Hafje wants to free his trapped foot but Haunter Jr is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Hafje slips a nice elbow through Haunter Jr's hands, connecting with Haunter Jr's forehead.

Hafje seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Haunter Jr for as long as he can get away with.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Hafje moves into the clinch successfully.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Haunter Jr goes for a takedown attempt but Hafje pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Beo Hafje has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jammed Haunter Jr.
Hafje misses with a body kick.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Beo Hafje will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Haunter Jr tries to clinch up but Hafje circles away and keeps his distance.
Hafje tries to counter with a takedown but Haunter Jr is quick to defend against it.
Haunter Jr tries a head kick but it misses.
Haunter Jr shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hafje as he avoids it easily.

Hafje closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Hafje manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Hafje breaks from the clinch.
Haunter Jr tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hafje swats him away and circles back towards the center.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hafje changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Haunter Jr looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Haunter Jr is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Hafje is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Haunter Jr has escaped the position, nice work there.

Haunter Jr is looking to regain half guard here but Hafje keeps moving and retains side control.
Haunter Jr manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Hafje wants to control but Haunter Jr is keeping busy.

Hafje escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Haunter Jr gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Hafje is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Haunter Jr rolls with it to try and escape but Hafje cranks on the arm and Haunter Jr is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
