The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Erminus keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Halli bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

We've been hearing good reports from Erminus's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Erminus looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Halli with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Halli shoots in looking for a takedown. Erminus tries to sprawl out of it but Halli keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Erminus manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Halli lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Erminus has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Erminus and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Rayan Halli is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Halli changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Erminus tries to avoid it but Halli manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Erminus to the ground. Erminus escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Halli shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Erminus as he jumps to the side.
