The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wellington lands with a slapping head kick.

It looks like Krit Leekpai has been cut.
Leekpai throws a jab but it's blocked by Wellington.
Wellington digs a good body shot into Leekpai's ribs.
Good work by Wellington as he checks the leg kick.
A head kick misses from Wellington.
Wellington throws a sloppy head kick and Leekpai moves out of range easily.
Krit Leekpai seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Leekpai closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Wellington throws a low kick but Leekpai moves out of range easily.
Leekpai throws a shot from downtown. Wellington moves away and avoids it.
Leekpai misses with a straight left.
Leekpai lands a nice shot that snaps Wellington's head back.

Wellington is rocked!
Wellington switches off momentarily and Leekpai cracks him with a monster right hand! Wellington topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Leekpai dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Leekpai!

Krit Leekpai decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
