Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Islandiano Islandish!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Ivan Draski!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Chris Saunders and Roger Salmon.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Draski lands a head kick. Islandish smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Islandish gets tackled into the cage by Draski. Draski maintains the clinch.

Draski breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Islandish fails with an attempt to clinch.
Draski has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Draski plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

Islandish is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Draski's half guard.

Draski might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Islandish haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Draski tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

Draski looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Islandish is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Hero Academia, so we'll see if he gets out of it.

Draski can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Islandish is looking to escape.

Draski is standing up, even though he is in mount.
Draski moves out of range of the leg kick from Islandish.
Draski looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Draski scores with a jab to the body.
Draski lands with an uppercut that bounces Islandish off the cage and back into range.
A punch lands to the side of Islandish 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Draski darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Islandish closes the distance and clinches.
Islandish changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Draski fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Draski blocks a head kick by Islandish.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Draski counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Ivan Draski is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Islandish tries to land a front kick but Draski steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

and Draski counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Draski has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Draski uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Islandish is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Draski leaves Islandish with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Islandish avoids a punch combination nicely.
Islandish drops down looking for a counter takedown but Draski sprawls and moves away.

Islandish clinches up against the cage.
Draski misses with a knee strike.

Draski pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Islandish is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Draski is defending well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Islandiano Islandish. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Islandish is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Draski pulls him back up using the underhooks.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Draski lands a really nice looking cross but Islandish seems unphased.
Draski throws a head kick that Islandish semi-blocks.
Draski lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Islandish goes down and covers up as Draski starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ivan Draski!
