The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Tacktheritrix wants a takedown.

Tacktheritrix goes for a takedown attempt but Somchai pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Somchai rushes Tacktheritrix and presses him up against the cage.
Tacktheritrix changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Somchai fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Somchai tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Tacktheritrix paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Somchai takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Somchai has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Somchai gets to his feet - Tacktheritrix follows without any prompting.

Tacktheritrix shoots in looking for a takedown. Somchai tries to sprawl out of it but Tacktheritrix keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Somchai manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Tacktheritrix drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Somchai gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Somchai lands a nice elbow.
Tacktheritrix has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Somchai is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Tacktheritrix has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Somchai avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Somchai comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
