Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sale Says (ranked 3581 p4p, 4483 weight class) and Forbes Of Bree (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Sandra Marshall and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A low kick from Of Bree misses
and Says cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Of Bree misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Says works the jab nicely.
Says scores with a jab to the jaw.
Says smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Says seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Says connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Of Bree momentarily.
Of Bree looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Of Bree darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Says looking for submissions off his back.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Of Bree prevents Says from improving his position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Says is trying to control but can't.
Says is looking for a sweep. Of Bree is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Says looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Says is looking to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Says has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Of Bree is working away from the top position though.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
The fighters are battling for position here. Says manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Says is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Of Bree controls from within his opponent's guard.
Says looking to control.
Says is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Of Bree is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Says keeping full guard, as Of Bree tries to pass.
Of Bree must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Says is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Of Bree defends well.

Of Bree throws a big right hand that misses.
Of Bree stands and steps away. Says gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Says is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Of Bree.
Of Bree tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Of Bree tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Says swivels and escapes.
Of Bree misses with a takedown attempt - Says sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Sale Says has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Forbes Of Bree.
Of Bree tries to score a power double leg takedown but Says sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Of Bree somewhat.

Of Bree gets a takedown into half guard.
Says trying to hold on to Of Bree's head to control him but Of Bree postures up.
Says slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Of Bree is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Says has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Of Bree is looking to defend but Says has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Of Bree! Says pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Of Bree taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Sale Says!
