These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Shirou Masuda and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zurauskas throws a jab when Alzado was well out of range.
Alzado swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Alzado looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Zurauskas has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Alzado throws a looping overhand right but Zurauskas ducks down to avoid it.
Alzado throws a lazy uppercut
and Zurauskas cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like Lyle Alzado has been cut.
Alzado misses with a double jab.
Alzado gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Alzado throws a left and a right that both miss
and Zurauskas connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Alzado is rocked!
Zurauskas shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Alzado takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Zurauskas sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Alzado bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!
