Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sirus Hughes (ranked 2114 p4p, 3909 weight class) and Ruddo Ryokale (ranked 123 p4p, 228 weight class). Hughes's entrance music is Devil "Shinedown". A fine choice. Ruddo Ryokale has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 15 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ruddo Ryokale!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, John Roberts and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Hughes.
Ryokale sneaks back into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hughes is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Ryokale doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Hughes.
Ryokale slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Ryokale has his hands on Hughes's head, controlling the position.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ryokale is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Hughes defends well.

Ryokale is looking for a triangle but Hughes pushes his legs off easily.

Hughes avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Hughes stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ryokale swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Ryokale seems keen to control Hughes's posture.

Ryokale tries to roll over but Hughes keeps him under control.
Hughes is trying to work for a kimura but Ryokale is defending well.

Hughes trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Ryokale is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Ryokale lands a nice short elbow.
Hughes has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Ryokale. Oh but Hughes has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Ryokale goes limp - he's gone! Hughes jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
