Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Roberto Vieira!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bertel Haardt!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Radbod Blank and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haardt looks to clinch
and Vieira counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Haardt pushes Vieira off looking to stand but Vieira dives back in and keeps control.
Haardt blocking the ground and pound attempt from Vieira.
Vieira missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Haardt is looking to escape.
Vieira takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Haardt fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Vieira.
Haardt fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Vieira looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Haardt throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Vieira's head.
Haardt stuffs the takedown attempt from Vieira. Vieira gets slowly back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Vieira is trying hard to land a takedown here. Haardt sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Vieira gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Haardt throws a nice head kick!
Vieira shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Haardt counters with a nice uppercut.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Roberto Vieira. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Haardt is looking to clinch.

Bertel Haardt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vieira is breathing heavily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Vieira walks straight into a right hand from Haardt - that's dropped him! Haardt jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Vieira from any more punishment! Vieira complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Bertel Haardt!
