The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arugala throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Arugala thows a leg kick but Montague checks it

and Montague counters with a shoot takedown. Arugala fights it but they end up in guard.

Montague has gone for a leg lock! Arugala slips out almost immediately though and dives into Montague's guard.

Montague working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Arugala doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Montague is tightening it up a little... Arugala has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Arugala reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Arugala taps out! Nice BJJ there by Montague!
