In the red corner, competing out of London, with a TWGC record of 23 wins and 15 losses; Esteban Mondragon! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 17 wins and 14 losses; Artur Azaryan!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Cecil Peabody and Gwen Towbar.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Mondragon enables Azaryan to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Mondragon manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Mondragon's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
