The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Piper bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Brisson's head.

Piper wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

Piper clobbers Brisson with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Piper rushes Brisson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Brisson wants to get back to striking at distance but Piper won't allow it.

Brisson has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

We've been told by Piper's head coaches at Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Piper catches Brisson with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Brisson is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Piper doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Brisson crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Brisson's bad books for that mishap!
