PBP Commentary |
Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tobias Berge (ranked 2632 p4p, 2342 weight class) and Bradley Lemons (ranked 327 p4p, 286 weight class). Berge comes to the cage accompanied by Ice Cube - Smoke Some Weed. Bradley Lemons will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tobias Berge!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Bradley Lemons!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Winston Alpacca and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Berge doesn't manage to clinch there - Lemons circles away.
A little jabbing left from Lemons on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Lemons bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Berge's head.
Berge tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Lemons looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Berge darts in and clinches Lemons up against the cage.
Berge manages to pull guard.
Berge looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Lemons tries to free his leg and advance position but Berge is retaining full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lemons is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Berge has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Lemons is looking to defend but Berge has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Lemons! Berge pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Lemons taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Tobias Berge!
After winning the bout, Tobias Berge thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
