Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Vladamir Ivanov (ranked 4633 p4p, 6196 weight class) and Jacob Underwood (ranked 564 p4p, 677 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Ivanov might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to From Russia with love. Vladamir Ivanov is staring across the ring at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Underwood enables Ivanov to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Underwood manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Underwood tries to land a sweep but no joy.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ivanov accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ivanov postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Underwood is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Ivanov is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Ivanov misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Ivanov shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Underwood defends it nicely.
An inside leg kick lands from Ivanov.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Ivanov shoots in but no luck this time.
Underwood raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vladamir Ivanov. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Underwood darts in and clinches Ivanov up against the ropes.
Ivanov really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Ivanov has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Underwood clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Ivanov is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Underwood is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Ivanov.
You can see the frustration on Underwood's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Underwood is trying to get back to his feet but Ivanov has full control of the position and if anything, Underwood has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Ivanov will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Underwood is in a bad position with Ivanov working for a choke. Underwood manages to spin nicely into guard and the danger is over for the moment.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Ivanov wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Underwood wants to get up but he can't break Ivanov's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Underwood advances to half guard.
Ivanov has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Underwood is working away from the top position though.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

A close round but Jacob Underwood will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Underwood tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Ivanov throws a half hearted mid kick.
Ivanov scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Underwood doesn't seem bothered though.

Ivanov drives through and clinches with Underwood against the ropes.
Underwood wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Underwood fails to pull guard.
A head punch on the inside from Underwood fails to land.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ivanov blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Ivanov pulls guard successfully.
Underwood is breathing heavily.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Ivanov is on top in guard.

Ivanov is standing up over Underwood. Underwood looks to escape but Ivanov dives into side control.
Underwood is looking to reverse the position.

Underwood felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Ivanov tries for a kimura but Underwood is defending well.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Ivanov jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Underwood manages to avoid the submission attempt.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Underwood is in a horrible position here. Ivanov smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Ivanov lands a heavy elbow.

Ivanov is working for a guillotine from mount but Underwood frees his head quite easily.

Ivanov throws a front kick that sends Underwood stumbling back into the ropes.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Underwood lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

Ivanov has closed the distance and engaged Underwood in a clinch.

Ivanov gets control of Underwood's arms and successfully pulls guard. Ivanov will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Ivanov has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the ropes to get back to his feet. Underwood has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the ropes.

Ivanov manages to break the clinch.

Ivanov closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.

Ivanov pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Underwood swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ivanov keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Ivanov tries for a takedown but Underwood sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vladamir Ivanov. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ivanov moves in looking to clinch but Underwood pushes him off.

Ivanov moves into the clinch.
Underwood tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Ivanov just stands there and leans against the ropes.
Ivanov jumps guard but Underwood stands there with Ivanov around his waist. Ivanov gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Underwood tries to work over Ivanov's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Ivanov stalls.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Underwood's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Ivanov darts in trying to clinch
and Underwood cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

And that's the end of the fight!
Vladamir Ivanov showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Ivanov has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
