Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gillechriosd McCoy (ranked 4552 p4p, 6051 weight class) and Kevin Anderson (ranked 513 p4p, 607 weight class). Anderson has chosen Matrix-In the end as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCoy throws a shot to the body.

McCoy forces Anderson back against the cage and clinches.
McCoy is pressed up against the cage. Anderson has hold of a leg and is looking to drag McCoy down to the mat. McCoy avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Anderson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. McCoy tries to avoid it but Anderson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag McCoy to the ground. McCoy escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Anderson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? McCoy is fending him off so far but Anderson persists. Nope, McCoy circles away and we're back to standing.
Gillechriosd McCoy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kevin Anderson.
Anderson avoids the body shot from McCoy.
McCoy swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Anderson.
Anderson walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Nice sprawl there from McCoy as Anderson shoots in.
McCoy fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Anderson looks for a takedown but McCoy sprawls well.
Anderson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Anderson closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. McCoy quickly recovers to half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Anderson is working for a submission of some sort.
McCoy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Anderson on the ground.
McCoy keeping control of the position.

McCoy is refusing to be controlled, as Anderson sits in half guard.
Still in half guard, Anderson seems content to control.

Anderson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so McCoy is just riding it out for now. Anderson eventually gives up the hold.

Anderson is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Anderson is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and McCoy defends it well.

Anderson is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Anderson is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! McCoy is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
