The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Topolya has Jones up against the cage in a clinch.

Jones looks to land a combination but Topolya avoids it well.
Jones rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Topolya moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Jones has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

and Jones counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Topolya throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Topolya is breathing heavily.
Jones smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Topolya lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Topolya throws a series of strikes that have Jones backpedaling.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jones lands a really nice looking cross but Topolya seems unphased.
Jones scores with a kick to the midsection.

Jones feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Topolya sprawling to the canvas! Topolya rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Jones finish him?!
