Santa Perez lands a nice shot that snaps Christ's head back.

Santa Perez rushes Christ and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Santa Perez jumps guard but Christ stands there with Santa Perez around his waist. Santa Perez gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Christ digs a right hand underneath Santa Perez's ribcage. Santa Perez let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Christ swings wildly with an uppercut but Santa Perez uses good head movement to avoid it.
Santa Perez jumps guard but Christ turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Santa Perez jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Christ walks away with a smile on his face. Santa Perez gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Christ really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Santa Perez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Santa Perez escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Christ gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Christ wanted to stand there but Santa Perez had control of the position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Santa Perez has his foot on Christ's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Christ works his way back into a safe position though.

Santa Perez is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Christ must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Santa Perez holds on and takes a little breather.

Santa Perez working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Christ doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Christ manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
