Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Richard Blackmore!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lance Uppercut!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Uppercut shoots in and bounces Blackmore off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Blackmore looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Uppercut trying to stand up but can't free himself from Blackmore's guard.
Uppercut tries to free his leg and advance position but Blackmore is retaining full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Uppercut is working Blackmore over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Uppercut looking to pass the guard.
Uppercut trying to control but Blackmore is working from the bottom.
Uppercut with a flurry of punches that miss.
Uppercut must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Uppercut is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Uppercut really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Blackmore. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Let's hope that Uppercut has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

It looks like Richard Blackmore has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Blackmore tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Uppercut wants to stand but Blackmore has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Uppercut takes a little break here. Blackmore wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Uppercut is looking to take a break and control but Blackmore is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Despite being in the dominant position, Lance Uppercut just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Uppercut throws a nice looking combination but Blackmore bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Uppercut drives through with a takedown into guard.
Blackmore is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Uppercut trying to control the position from guard on top but Blackmore is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Blackmore looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Uppercut is defending well. Blackmore quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Uppercut has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Blackmore celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
