Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Samuel Kioper (ranked 4012 p4p, 3916 weight class) and Bam Bam Gigolo (ranked 500 p4p, 485 weight class). Bam Bam Gigolo is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Bam Bam Gigolo!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kioper tries to score a power double leg takedown but Gigolo sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kioper somewhat.

Kioper gets a takedown into half guard.
Gigolo wants to stand back up but Kioper manages to pass into side control.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Gigolo can do anything to dispel that myth.

Kioper is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Gigolo is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kioper wants to stand but Gigolo is controlling his arm.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kioper tries to advance to mount but can't.
Gigolo is trying to work for a sweep but Kioper has mounted him!

Kioper gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
Gigolo uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kioper.
Kioper misses with a double jab

and Gigolo counters with a nice double leg into side control. Kioper won't be happy with that.
Gigolo lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Kioper tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kioper is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Gigolo with shots to the head and body - Kioper looks very uncomfortable down there.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kioper is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Gigolo has taken his back!

Gigolo has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Kioper! Can he survive? No! He's out! Gigolo gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
