And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 13 wins and 11 losses; Tres Sulvar!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Roosa Järviläinen and Marco Blurström.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Sulvar closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Dos Santos to the mat! Dos Santos manages to get full guard.

Sulvar wants to control from the top but Dos Santos keeps moving.
Dos Santos controls Sulvar momentarily but Sulvar frees himself.

Sulvar has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dos Santos can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Sulvar is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Dos Santos defends well.

Dos Santos got a little sloppy there for a moment and Sulvar has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dos Santos has managed to get both his arms back between Sulvar's legs - danger averted.

Sulvar escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dos Santos gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Sulvar is on top in guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sulvar seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Dos Santos is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Roosters Coop, so we'll see if he gets out of it.

It looks like Sulvar might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
