And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ben Askrew!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Glass and Colin Fotheringham.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reeves misses with a two punch combination.
Askrew with the counter takedown but Reeves avoids it easily.
Reeves thows a leg kick but Askrew checks it

and Askrew counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Reeves!
Reeves sneaks back into half guard.
Reeves is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Tycoon Gym that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
Reeves is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Askrew is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Askrew has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Reeves defend it? Askrew steps over the head and cranks it - Reeves is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Askrew!
