Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Abduwali Hassan (ranked 483 p4p, 457 weight class) and Lorenzo Benedetti (ranked 62 p4p, 56 weight class). Benedetti comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Gloom, Doom, Heartache & Whiskey - Viking Skull kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

With a record of 16 - 5 - 3, fighting out of Sydney, Lorenzo Benedetti!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Emerson Jorge and Leandro Rodrigues.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Benedetti rushes Hassan and presses him up against the cage.
Hassan tries to throw a body punch but Benedetti avoids it by throwing Hassan back against the cage.
Benedetti lands a knee to the body.

Benedetti gets through Hassan's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Benedetti using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Hassan has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Benedetti fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hassan manages to avoid it.
No joy there for Benedetti, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Benedetti lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Benedetti is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Hassan had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.
