Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Brian McFoy (ranked 2526 p4p, 3350 weight class) and Nick Robinsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys are coming into the fight with injuries so let's see if that has a bearing on the fight. Nick Robinsson will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McFoy shoots in and gets a takedown into Robinsson's guard.
Robinsson looks winded!

McFoy stands up over Robinsson, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
McFoy is in close to Robinsson's body, working some short punches and elbows.
McFoy keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Robinsson's head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McFoy is working Robinsson over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Robinsson looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

McFoy drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. McFoy seems to have locked his on tight now - Robinsson screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for McFoy, as he picks up the win!
