The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Yves DeLean and Trevor Gratis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garcia shoots for a takedown but Biko saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Biko works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Biko rushes Garcia and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Garcia has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Biko will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Garcia up against the cage.

I was talking to Biko's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Garcia is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Biko defends well.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Biko keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Garcia's head.

Biko loads up on a big left hand. Garcia felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Biko looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Garcia can't hide his disappointment, as Biko celebrates the victory.
