Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Julian Soza (ranked 5857 p4p, 3182 weight class) and Xander Scott (ranked 99 p4p, 103 weight class). Scott has chosen Also Sprach Zarathustra as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Xander Scott will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Julian Soza!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xander Scott!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Hirohito Nitta and Yukihiro Shimada.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scott throws a nice looking combination but Soza bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
A decent looking cross lands there for Scott.
Scott tries a low kick but Soza avoids it.
Soza dives in and grabs Scott's left leg, looking for a takedown. Scott pushes down on Soza's head and hops out.
Soza has his takedown stuffed
enabling Scott to counter with a crisp jab.
Soza fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Soza throws the kick towards the body but Scott avoids it.
Soza misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Soza misses with a jab, cross combination.
Soza is breathing heavily.
Soza takes a jab right on the kisser.

It looks like Julian Soza has been cut.
Scott is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Scott dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Soza ducks straight into an uppercut from Scott and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Soza manages to regain guard straight away.

Soza is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Scott gets to his feet. Soza looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Oh Soza is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Scott moves into range and clinches up with Soza.

Scott breaks from the clinch.
Scott lands a body shot.
Scott ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Soza's jaw. Soza's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Scott does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Xander Scott!
