Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Kid James!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Islandiano Islandish!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Colin Fray and Josh West.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Islandish avoids a low kick by using good footwork.

Islandish gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Islandish has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by James after a bit of a struggle.
Islandish stalling the fight.

James pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
James displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Islandish.

Islandish clinches.

James jumps guard and drags Islandish to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Islandish controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
James is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Islandish connects with a couple of short punches.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

James working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Islandish doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Islandish manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

James has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Islandish has passed into side control.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Islandish tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Islandish has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Islandish is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. James knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
James tries to improve position but can't.

The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Islandish in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.

James is rocked!
Islandish scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh James is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Islandish can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
