Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Robbie Lyle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Venerable Thibodeaux!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, William Gold and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thibodeaux tries to clinch up but Lyle circles away and keeps his distance.
Lyle swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Thibodeaux blocks a jab.
Thibodeaux ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Thibodeaux lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Lyle at a distance.
Thibodeaux clinches with his opponent.
Lyle blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Lyle misses with a punch to the body.
Thibodeaux lands a left hand.
Lyle tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Thibodeaux tries a body shot but Lyle blocks it.
Thibodeaux scores with a shot to the side of Lyle's head.
Thibodeaux misses with a punch to the body.
Lyle blocks a body shot from Thibodeaux.
Lyle tries to throw a body punch but Thibodeaux avoids it by throwing Lyle back against the cage.
Lyle goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Lyle pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Lyle throws out a loose jab but Thibodeaux uses good head movement to avoid it.
Thibodeaux fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
It looks like Robbie Lyle has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lyle connects with a single shot there.
Thibodeaux ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Lyle bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Thibodeaux's head backwards.
Thibodeaux looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Thibodeaux lands a jab.
Lyle throws a shot from downtown. Thibodeaux moves away and avoids it.
Lyle misses with a looping left.
Thibodeaux jabs at Lyle's body.
Lyle is breathing heavily.
Lyle switches off momentarily and Thibodeaux cracks him with a monster right hand! Lyle topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Thibodeaux dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Thibodeaux!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Venerable Thibodeaux!
