Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vasil Petrov (ranked 301 p4p, 1247 weight class) and Malcolm King (ranked 47 p4p, 170 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying King's choice of entrance music: YoungBoy Never Broke Again – White Teeth. Vasil Petrov has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Malcolm King!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Franklyn Lucas and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petrov throws a right hand that misses
and King makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Petrov really felt that one!
King misses with a body kick.
King ducks under a wild hook from Petrov.
King now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
King takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Petrov tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
King looks like he wants to counter punch here.

Petrov ducks down and throws a hook to the body but King moves away.

King tries to move into range but Petrov moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

King is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Petrov with a body shot.

Vasil Petrov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and King counters with a lovely shot to the body.
King lands a right hook to the body.

Petrov is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Petrov cracks King with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

King thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Petrov if he has to take too many more of those.

King takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
King connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

King fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Petrov manages to avoid it.
Petrov with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling King to score with a decent uppercut.

King tests Petrov's chin there with a solid looking shot.
King lands a nice hook to Petrov's body. Petrov takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

King throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

King has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
King ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
King scores with a nice body kick.
King throws a nice looking combination but Petrov bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Petrov throws a hook to the side of King's head but King sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
King let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Petrov takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Petrov uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from King.
King fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Petrov has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Malcolm King dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

King throws out a loose jab but Petrov uses good head movement to avoid it.

King just misses with a punch to the body.
Petrov lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
King is rocked!
Petrov jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Petrov lands a really nice looking cross but King seems unphased.
King is still on wobbly legs! Can Petrov finish him?
King backs away from a small jab... but Petrov lunges forward with a huge superman punch! King crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Petrov with a spectacular finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Vasil Petrov!
After the fight, Vasil Petrov was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
