The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Johannes uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Hallavaara.
Unski Hallavaara seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Johannes displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hallavaara throws out the jab.
Johannes's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Johannes duly obliges.
Hallavaara looks to throw the jab but Johannes is out of range.
Johannes avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Hallavaara throws a head kick but Johannes moves out of range.
Hallavaara misses with a hook.
Hallavaara throws a hook to the side of Johannes's head but Johannes sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Johannes cracks Hallavaara with a good jab.
Hallavaara tries to clinch up.
Hallavaara is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Johannes throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

A chopping leg kick lands by Johannes.

Hallavaara throws the left hand but Johannes avoids the punch easily.
Hallavaara tries to clinch there but Johannes circles away.
Johannes punishes Hallavaara's body with a nice straight punch.
Hallavaara throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Johannes connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Hallavaara momentarily.

and Johannes counters with a slapping leg kick.
Hallavaara looks gassed!
Hallavaara walks into a left hand.
Hallavaara moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Hallavaara throws a head kick that misses.
Hallavaara looks to land a left hand but Johannes moved out of range nicely.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Johannes - that will leave a mark!
Johannes is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Johannes ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

A slapping leg kick lands for Johannes.
Johannes moves into range and connects with a jab.
Johannes lands a head kick!
Hallavaara doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Johannes feints and then cracks Hallavaara's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Hallavaara down.
Johannes scores with the left hand. Hallavaara knows he should have avoided that one.
Johannes explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Johannes closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Hallavaara seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Johannes shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Hallavaara is backing up but Johannes catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Hallavaara covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Johannes Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
