The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Alyssa Summers and Franklyn Lucas.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goode connects with a body shot that sends Doherty's belly button to the back.
Doherty gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Goode.
Goode swinging wildly here.
Goode throws a right and a left that both miss.
Goode misses with a double jab
and Doherty counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Goode fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Doherty looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Doherty connects with a looping right hand.
Goode on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Goode throws a looping overhand right but Doherty ducks down to avoid it.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Doherty lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Doherty walks into a left hand.
A jab lands there for Goode.
Goode looks to land a left hand but Doherty moved out of range nicely.
Goode misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Doherty counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Goode takes a swing at Doherty's ribcage but misses.
Doherty throws out a counter right but Goode avoids it with no problem.
Doherty has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Doherty throws a body shot but no joy.
Goode drops down looking for a counter takedown but Doherty sprawls and moves away.
Doherty lands a jab to the head.
Doherty scores with a sloppy right hand. Goode should have avoided that one.
Goode swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Doherty stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Goode is rocked!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Goode walks straight into a right hand from Doherty - that's dropped him! Doherty jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Goode from any more punishment! Goode complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
