The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carneiro takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Richards ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Richards throws a looping overhand right but Carneiro ducks down to avoid it.
Carneiro explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Richards dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Richards jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Richards lands a lovely overhand right.

It looks like Thiago Carneiro has been cut.

Carneiro closes the distance and pushes Richards back into the cage.

Richards unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Carneiro! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Richards is unloading with more strikes now! Carneiro drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
