The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chandler moves away from the strike by Kuronoa.

Kuronoa misses with a body shot.
Kuronoa ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Chandler moves away.
Ono Kuronoa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kuronoa misses with a looping right.
Chandler takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Kuronoa fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Chandler.

Kuronoa drops Chandler with a left right combo! Kuronoa follows him down to the ground into side control.

Chandler is rocked!

It looks like Nicholas Chandler has been cut.

Kuronoa thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Chandler seems to have recovered his senses.
Kuronoa tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

Kuronoa is working to tighten his grip on Chandler's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Chandler has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Kuronoa is really squeezing tight and eventually Chandler passes out! Kuronoa breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
