Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Ralph (ranked 4520 p4p, 24732 weight class) and Clinton Strong (ranked 269 p4p, 345 weight class). Clinton Strong is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Nard Betker and Albert Achterberg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ralph shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Ralph showed some decent athleticism there.
Ralph is nestled in close to Strong , controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Ralph escapes and gets back to his feet.

Ralph closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Strong changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Ralph fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Strong gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Ralph counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Ralph got a little sloppy there for a moment and Strong has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ralph has managed to get both his arms back between Strong 's legs - danger averted.
Ralph is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Strong is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Strong is striking but Ralph is not phased and passes to half guard.

Strong is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Ralph pulls his head out easily.

Strong looking for subs from the bottom but Ralph mounts him!
Ralph really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Ralph is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Strong is surviving well by controlling Ralph 's body position as best he can.

Ralph 's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Ralph has the hooks in. Strong is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Strong is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Ralph will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
I would not like to be Strong right now.

Strong has hold of Ralph 's leg, trying to break free but it's let Ralph lock up a rear naked choke! This could be big trouble! Strong is turning an unusual color here… he's out! Ralph throws him to one side and jumps onto the cage to celebrate with his fans.
