Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Trainius Reckus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pena Hirmu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hirmu has chosen AC/DC - War Machine as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pena Hirmu!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Anni Minnemäki.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Reckus changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hirmu looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Reckus is trying to get an arm triangle but Hirmu is defending well.
Hirmu is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Reckus creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Hirmu sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Hirmu is pushing Reckus's head away, looking to escape. Reckus manages to hold on to the position though.
Hirmu bucks up and tries to throw Reckus off but instead Reckus has got his back!

Hirmu is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Reckus doesn't have the hooks in and Hirmu manages to turn into his guard.
Hirmu would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Reckus striking off his back but it's not causing Hirmu any problems.
Hirmu wanted to stand there but Reckus had control of the position.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Reckus looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Reckus has his foot on Hirmu's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hirmu works his way back into a safe position though.
Reckus has a closed guard, preventing Hirmu from standing up.
Reckus doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Hirmu gets to his feet - Reckus follows without any prompting.
Reckus is breathing heavily.
Nice sprawl there from Hirmu as Reckus shoots in.
Hirmu connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Reckus tumbling to the canvas! Hirmu pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Reckus was done - good stoppage!
