Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jake Drake (ranked 597 p4p, 1423 weight class) and Apophis Kalmisto (ranked 73 p4p, 148 weight class). Drake comes to the cage accompanied by Lose Yourself. Kalmisto has chosen Tässäkö tää oli as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Apophis Kalmisto has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Apophis Kalmisto!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shigeki Fujiwara and Kenichi Hosakawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drake blocks a head kick by Kalmisto.
Apophis Kalmisto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Drake on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Kalmisto manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Drake manages to get himself to full guard.

Drake shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Kalmisto is trying to defend but Drake finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Oh but Drake is tightening it up a little... Kalmisto has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Kalmisto reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Kalmisto taps out! Nice BJJ there by Drake!
