Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tycen Murphy (ranked 3423 p4p, 6465 weight class) and Roses Goldyn (ranked 410 p4p, 587 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Murphy might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Lil Durk - Finesse Out The Gang Way feat. Lil Baby. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Bruno Lombardi and Chad Campbell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murphy cracks Goldyn with a right hand to the side of the head.
Goldyn has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Murphy's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Murphy duly obliges.
Murphy tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Goldyn is able to avoid easily.
Murphy scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Goldyn doesn't seem bothered though.
Goldyn moves out of range as Murphy strikes.
Goldyn throws a left and a right that both miss
and Goldyn takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Murphy misses with a few strikes there.
Nice takedown defense from Murphy. No joy for Goldyn on that attempt.
Goldyn on the wrong end of a nice jab.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Murphy connects with a jab.

Goldyn has closed the distance and engaged Murphy in a clinch.
Murphy misses with some punches.

Goldyn escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Murphy lands a right hook to the body.
Murphy throws a right and a left that both miss.
Goldyn stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Murphy.
Goldyn gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Murphy.

Murphy gets caught flat footed, as Goldyn shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Murphy looking to control but Goldyn passes into half guard.
Goldyn content to control rather than advance.
Let's hope that Goldyn has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Goldyn tries to pass the half guard into mount. Murphy knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Goldyn has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Murphy defend it? Goldyn steps over the head and cranks it - Murphy is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Goldyn!
